Adoptions by Reference of EPA Regulations
Section 403.8055, F.S., provides a "fast-track" process for the Department
of Environmental Protection to adopt rules substantively identical to
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. Pursuant to this
process, the Division of Air Resource Management adopts EPA regulations
by reference as needed to carry out the state's responsibilities under
the federal Clean Air Act. For further information regarding the division's adoption by reference of EPA regulations, please send your request to
Terri Long [Terri.Long@dep.state.fl.us].
