NSR/PSD Construction Permits - FPL Glades Power Park, Glades County

Return to Power Plants

The DEP Office of Permitting and Compliance has received a PSD application from Florida Power and Light Company to construct a 1960 megawatt coal-fired power plant named Glades Power Park. The proposed facility would be located in Glades County, northwest of Moore Haven, Florida.

The proposed location for the FPL Glades Power Park is here, 3.5 miles north and 1 mile west of the intersection of state road 78 and U.S. Highway 27.

This application was withdrawn on July 23, 2007.
