Air General Permits - Surface Coating Operations
Surface coating or painting operations are the processes of depositing a coating material on a target surface using certain application methodologies such as spray, roll, etc. Surface coating operations can be prime and topcoat or single coat operations.
A facility comprising surface coating operations may be eligible to operate as an emissions source in Florida under the terms of a conditional exemption from Title V air permitting, through the use of an Air General Permit that incorporates the requirements of the conditional exemption.
