Things you can do to keep Florida's Air Clean

Maintain Heating and Air Conditioning Units

• Replace filters monthly.

• Clean the system quarterly.

• Clean dirt buildup from both the indoor and outdoor coils (dust collecting on indoor coils is the single most common cause of poor efficiency).

• Make sure the drain lines are ducts are unclogged.

• Have air conditioning systems checked in the Spring and heating systems in the Fall.

• Check the refrigerant charge.

• Repair leaky units.

• Keep the heating and air condenser clear of trees and shrubs that block the airflow.
