DEP provides employees with an entire suite of online courses
that provide a one-stop reference for your online training needs.
This is your source for employee compliance training along with
supervisory, professional development, safety and Workers' Compensation
courses. There is no cost for Online Training, however, all training must be approved by your supervisor prior to taking a course.
The following courses are required for all DEP employees:
- New Employee Orientation (for FTE employees)- Required Upon Hiring
- OPS New Employee Orientation (for OPS employees only)- Required Upon Hiring
- Harassment Is...Government Version - Required Upon Hiring
- Diversity in the Real World - Required Upon Hiring
- DEP Civil Rights - Required Upon Hiring
- DEP Code of Ethics - Required Upon Hiring
- DEP Public Records - Required Upon Hiring
- Information Security Awareness Training - Required Upon Hiring
Combo-DEP Annual Refresher Course (Combo). Employees must complete this course annually
from November 1 through December 31.
The Combo CANNOT be taken in place of the individual courses listed as being required upon hiring. You MUST
complete the full version of the courses list above BEFORE you take the Combo.

Online Training Course Instructions
Follow these instructions to receive your login profile for all online courses.
New employees will receive an email from DES with your login
instructions within one week of complete of your New Hire PAR.
Click the link provided in the email for access to DES.
Follow these instructions to access your courses.

Click the "GO TO COURSE" button at the bottom of this
page to go to the DES log-in screen.

Enter your User-ID as issued to you in the login profile
confirmation email from DES. This should be PF then 0
(Zero, not the letter "O") plus your PeopleFirst User-ID number.
For example, if your PeopleFirst User-ID is 123456, your DES
User-ID will be PF0123456. Contractor's user numbers will be
assigned in a confirmation email also.
Enter EVERGLADES
(Must be UPPERCASE for initial login) as your password.
Once you have logged in the first time, you will be prompted to create a
unique password before you will be able to move forward. If you
forget your User ID or password, click the link at the bottom of the DES
login page and your profile will be emailed to you.
Click the SUBMIT button to log-in.
Follow these instructions to select a course.
Click the course title from your course catalog.
Click the computer screen in the lower, right-hand corner of the screen to start the course.
Follow these instructions to navigate through the course:
Click the first section of the table of contents page
and the course will play automatically; this section is usually titled
"overview" or "introduction."
Use the toolbar at the bottom to navigate. These tools work
just like a normal video player with controls for options, sound,
pause, stop, back, and next.
Mastery of the course is based on passed the Post Test with a grade of 80 or higher.
To receive credit for completing the course, make sure to
complete the Post Test before exiting.

To exit the program click the EXIT tab located at the top,
right-hand corner of the screen. Progress is automatically saved at the time
of exit.

To exit DES, click the "logout" text located at the top, right-hand corner of the screen.
Follow these instructions if you are not able to print your certificate once you have completed the course (and passed the Post Test).
If your computer is equipped with a pop-up blocker, you may need to turn it off in order to print your certificate. If your certificate does not display after turning your pop-up blocker off, you can follow the directions below to print your certificate.
Go to http://fldep.clairitynet.com
Enter your User-ID.
Enter your password.
Once logged in, you will see a link titled "Mastered Certificates" on the left-hand navigation pane.
Click the Mastered Certificates button.
Select the certificate of your choice from the course drop-down list.
Click Process Report.
Click Print.
