presentation was given by Bureau of Laboratories staff at the first meeting
of the Emerging Substances of Concern Workgroup. The presentation
provides an overview of the current state of the science in the areas of
Endocrine Disrupting Compounds, Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products,
Global Organic Contaminants, and Nanoparticles.

Proposed Dip Net Sampling Changes - This presentation was given at the
2006 Annual Meeting of the Florida Association of Benthologists. The
presentation describes the logic behind proposed changes in laboratory
processing of 20-dip net sweep composite samples used in the calculation of
the Stream Condition Index.
