Florida Green Lodging Logo The Florida Green Lodging Program is a voluntary initiative of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) that designates and recognizes lodging facilities that make a commitment to conserve and protect Florida’s natural resources. The program’s environmental guidelines allow the hospitality industry to evaluate its operations, set goals and take specific actions to continuously improve environmental performance. Updates Spotlight

 

Join hoteliers and other professionals in a six-session green hotel webinar series, designed to help you cut your property’s operating costs, attract customers and improve environmental performance. Participants will learn how U.S. hotels reduce energy, water, waste and toxins; and get recognized for doing so. Each session will have three expert speakers. The webinars are funded by the U.S. EPA and presented by Boston Green Tourism and the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences. The first session is March 26, 1:00-2:15. Sign up here.
