NSR/PSD Construction Permits - Taylor Energy Center, Taylor County

Return to Power Plants

The DEP Office of Permitting and Compliance has received a PSD application to construct a coal-fired power plant named Taylor Energy Center, with a gross nominal capacity of 800 megawatts. The proposed facility would be located in Taylor County, southeast of Perry, Florida. The proposed location for the Taylor Energy Center is approximately 5 miles southeast of Perry and is generally bordered on the north by U.S. Highway 27.

This application was withdrawn on July 12, 2007.
