Things you can do to keep Florida's Air Clean
Use Public Transportation
- Teleconferencing
is the holding of a conference among people remote from one another by
means of telecommunication devices (such as telephones or computer
terminals). Teleconferencing eliminates travel time and expense
and permits flexible scheduling. Some types of teleconferencing
are:
- Audio
conferencing. The simplest and least-costly of teleconferencing
systems. It consists of an audio-only configuration in which two or
more groups or three or more individuals at separate locations
exchange verbal information with each other using either conference
calls and/or amplified telephone speaker devices (speakerphones).
- Business
television. A type of teleconferencing system which involves the
transmission of one-way television signals from a central site to
one or more sites.
- Computer
conferencing. The electronic means of sending, viewing, and
sharing real-time communications in areas of common interest by
using a computer keyboard.
- Telecommute is
the practice of working at a location other than the normal workplace
and communicating with your fellow workers through the phone,
typically with a computer and modem.
